Sue Ryder provides indivualised, compassionate care services to people with end of life and long-term needs. We offer this in people's own homes, in the community and in our hospices and care centres. We also support families, friends and carers.

4 million hours of care each year
1.4 million home visits to people in need
One of the largest providers of specialist palliative care in the UK
Over 100,000 days of long-term residential care each year
6,000 volunteers support our work

Through innovation and research they work to improve standards in long-term and end of life care. They have recently received government recognition for improving end of life care for people with long-term conditions and have a research partnership with the University of Nottingham that is extending skills and knowledge across the sector. They have piloted leading hospice at home services and holistic care management programmes for people with complex physical and psychological needs.
